A new maritime service, “Europe – Red Sea – Middle East Express,” has been launched in response to rising demand for shipping routes between Europe and the Red Sea, amid ongoing challenges in the Middle East.
The service will call at key European ports, offering direct connections to King Abdullah Port, Jeddah, and Aqaba, alongside links to ports of discharge in the Gulf region (UAE and Upper Gulf) through a multimodal transport solution. It is designed to provide reliable, efficient, and competitive shipping options, with improved transit times to accommodate various types of cargo.
The first sailing is scheduled to depart from Antwerp on May 10 (ETS), under Voyage OC619 A. The eastbound rotation will include Gdansk, Klaipeda, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Valencia, Barcelona, Gioia Tauro, Abu Kir, King Abdullah, Jeddah, and Aqaba.
The service will also cover all European origins, from the North West Continent (NWC) and Scan Baltic regions to the West Mediterranean, Adriatic, and East Mediterranean Black Sea, through MSC’s extensive network of services.
