SOHAR Port and Freezone hosted a high-level Saudi delegation led by Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al Rumaih, Vice Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, in the presence of Engineer Khamis bin Mohammed Al Shamakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Transport.
During the visit, the delegation explored opportunities to strengthen logistics connectivity between Oman and Saudi Arabia, with a focus on how SOHAR Port and Freezone can support more efficient trade corridors, integrated supply chains, and growing trade and investment flows between the two countries.
Building on the two countries’ growing economic ties, the visit also underscored the importance of closer logistics integration in enhancing regional connectivity and expanding access to global markets.
