Asyad Container Terminal – Duqm (ACT) welcomed the arrival of the M/V CMA CGM VASCO DE GAMA, marking the vessel's inaugural call at the terminal and establishing a new milestone as the largest container vessel ever to berth at ACT.
With a carrying capacity of around 18,000 TEU, the arrival of the CMA CGM VASCO DE GAMA highlights ACT's readiness to serve the next generation of ultra-large container vessels. Backed by the recently implemented Navis N4 Terminal Operating System (TOS), the terminal offers globally recognized digital operating standards alongside modern infrastructure and deep-water access, delivering safe, efficient, and reliable vessel operations.
