EU Ambassador Sandra De Waele visited the Port of Beirut with Director General Marwan Al Nafi to see firsthand recent upgrades, including new scanners at customs.
The visit highlighted the port’s ambitious expansion plans and evolving needs.
The EU, together with France & Italy, will continue working with Lebanon to help it strengthen port security.
