The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has received a report of an incident occurring approximately 15 nautical miles north of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
According to initial information, the Master of a bulk carrier reported an explosion caused by an unidentified projectile in close proximity to the vessel.
All crew members onboard are reported to be safe, and no injuries have been confirmed at this time.
