Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rassamni received, in his office today, the French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro, where during the meeting they discussed a number of issues of common interest, particularly ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between Lebanon and France in several areas related to the ministry and vital facilities, especially the transport sector, in addition to existing and future projects that would support this vital sector.
Minister Rassamni met with a delegation from the Beirut Port Authority, headed by the Director General of Port Management and Investment, Marwan Nafi, where the reality of work at the port and the existing challenges were presented, along with the plans and procedures taken to improve performance and enhance operational readiness in line with the requirements of the next stage.
