Germany’s AIDA Cruises has unveiled plans to introduce its first zero-emission ship into service by 2030.
The cruise company said this ship’s introduction is in line with its goal of ensuring its entire fleet is emission-neutral by 2040, or ten years ahead of the climate targets of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).
