The London P&I Club has signed a Letter of Intent with the Korea Shipping Association (KSA), marking an important step in strengthening co-operation and expanding our mutual insurance capabilities.
The agreement was formalised during a visit to KSA by London Club Director Victoria Papageorgiou, together with Greg Han, Representative Director of the Club’s Korea branch.
Through this partnership, KSA will be better placed to support vessels requiring high-limit liability cover, including passenger ships, and to issue internationally recognised guarantees such as Blue Cards and Wreck Removal Convention certificates. The partnership also lays the groundwork for faster and more efficient handling of overseas claims through closer global P&I networks.
For the London Club, this partnership is about practical support. By working more closely with KSA and the wider International Group network, we can help Members and shipowners navigate complex requirements with greater confidence.
We’re proud to be working alongside the Korea Shipping Association and look forward to strengthening this partnership going forward.
