QTerminals has announced the appointment of Mr. Marco Neelsen as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, effective 3 August 2025.
With over two decades of international leadership experience in the ports and logistics industry, Mr. Neelsen has held senior executive roles in key global markets, including Malaysia, Germany, Bahrain, Jordan, and Oman. His most recent role was Executive Director at MMC Ports Holding Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, one of the world’s largest container terminals.
Mr. Neelsen brings a strong track record in operational excellence, strategic transformation, and port development. His appointment is expected to support QTerminals' next phase of growth, transformation, and global expansion.
The Board of Directors also extended its appreciation to Mr. Charles Meaby for his leadership as Acting Group CEO during the transition period. Mr. Meaby resumed his role as Managing Director of Hamad Port as of 1 August 2025.
