PETROSTAR MAROC is pleased to announce the successful completion of its first Ship-to-Ship (STS) bunkering operation at the Port of Agadir via the Moroccan-flagged tanker MT PS OUFELLA.
This operation carries particular symbolic significance as it was conducted between two Moroccan-flagged vessels: MT PS OUFELLA and MT CHALLAH, in full compliance with the operational, safety and environmental requirements established by the Moroccan authorities and in line with international maritime best practices.
This initiative is fully aligned with the Royal Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, aimed at reinforcing Morocco’s maritime sector and supporting the Kingdom’s ambition to become a major regional maritime and logistics hub.
PETROSTAR MAROC would like to express its sincere appreciation to the Moroccan institutions and authorities whose support and coordination contributed to the success of this operation, particularly:
- The Agence Nationale des Ports and its central and regional teams
- The Directorate of Ports and Maritime Public Domain
- The Directorate of Merchant Marine and its teams
- The Customs and Indirect Tax Administration, especially the Regional Directorate of Agadir and the Port of Agadir customs teams
