The 500-POB MSU DP3 flotel NOR SPIRIT has been awarded a new two-year charter contract with SBM Offshore to support offshore operations in Angola’s Block 15.
Under the terms of the agreement, NOR SPIRIT will provide offshore accommodation and support services for the Life Extension Program of the FPSO SAXI and FPSO MONDO, contributing to ongoing campaign activities aimed at extending asset life and ensuring operational continuity.
The vessel’s DP3 capabilities, continuous gangway connection system, and high-capacity accommodation are expected to support safe, stable, and efficient offshore execution throughout the project period.
The award further reinforces the company’s position in the offshore accommodation sector. Appreciation is extended to ExxonMobil, as Block 15 operator, SBM Offshore, and all project stakeholders for their continued trust and confidence in the vessel and its crew.
