The Islamic P&I Club took part in the Posidonia exhibition, held from June 1 to 5, where the global maritime industry convened for a week of high-level networking and dialogue. The Club’s delegation engaged with leading maritime figures, underscoring its active role within the international shipping and marine insurance community amid ongoing discussions on industry trends, regulatory developments, and risk management priorities.
During the event, the Islamic P&I Club also participated in the Panama Night Council, hosted by the Republic of Panama as part of the official Posidonia programme. The occasion included a meeting with the President of Panama, marking a notable moment of diplomatic and industry engagement. The interaction highlighted the strengthening of ties between maritime stakeholders and flag state representatives, reflecting broader efforts to foster cooperation within the global maritime sector.
