Oswal Greenzo Energies, a joint venture between Oswal Energies Limited and Greenzo Energy India Limited, has been awarded the contract to design, supply, install, test, and commission a 5 MW Green Hydrogen Plant at Deendayal Port, Kandla, under the Government of India’s Sagarmala Initiative.
This landmark project marks India’s first green hydrogen plant at a major port, positioning Deendayal Port as a pioneer in maritime decarbonisation. Executed on an EPC basis, the facility includes provisions for future expansion up to 10 MW using common infrastructure. Once operational, it is expected to produce approximately 800 tonnes of green hydrogen annually, supporting clean energy adoption across port operations and the mobility sector.
The initiative aligns with India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and represents a significant step toward reducing carbon emissions in the maritime, logistics, and transport sectors.

The contract signing ceremony was held in Gandhidham on 28 January 2026, in the presence of Mr. Ratan Bokadia, Mr. Kushal Agarwal, Executive Director of Greenzo Energy India Limited, and Mr. Sushil Kumar Singh, Chairman of Deendayal Port Authority.
