Under the patronage of HRH Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and in the presence of H.E. the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of the Saudi Ports Authority “Mawani”, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Mawani, represented by its President, Eng. Sulaiman bin Khalid Al-Mazroua, signed an agreement with Agility Logistics Parks, represented by CEO of Agility Group Ms. Henadi Al-Saleh, to establish an integrated logistics park at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, covering an area of nearly 400,000 square meters
H.E. Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser emphasized that the project represents a strategic step within ongoing efforts to develop Saudi ports and strengthen their role as key enablers of global supply chains. He noted that the new logistics park will contribute to enhancing service efficiency and improving trade flow, in alignment with the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy “NTLS” and Saudi Vision 2030
For his part, President of Mawani, Eng. Sulaiman Al-Mazroua, stated that the logistics park project marks a significant milestone in strengthening the infrastructure of Saudi ports, expanding private sector participation across the Kingdom’s ports and logistics ecosystem, and supporting supply chains
He further noted that the project serves as a key driver of industrial and economic growth in the Kingdom and reflects Mawani’s continued commitment to attracting global partners to advance logistics infrastructure development and enhance the regional and international competitiveness of Saudi ports.
In the same context, Agility affirmed that the project reflects its commitment to supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and reinforces its strategic approach to contributing to the development of infrastructure that supports economic growth in the Kingdom, while keeping pace with the rapid growth witnessed across the maritime and logistics sectors
King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam is distinguished by its advanced infrastructure and integrated logistics facilities, making it an attractive destination for major international companies. The port features 43 fully equipped berths and a handling capacity of up to 105 million tons of cargo and containers.
