Drydocks World, a DP World company, and Cochin Shipyard Limited have signed a 50:50 Joint Venture (JV) to operate and expand the International Ship Repair Facility in Cochin.
The JV, which is a first-of-its-kind public-private partnership in India’s ship repair sector, will strengthen India’s ship repair ecosystem, expand maritime capabilities and create new opportunities across Kerala.
Signed on the sidelines of brics2026 , it brings together global expertise and local capability to help position Cochin as a leading maritime services hub.
