The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) has been named among Al Bilad’s Top 50 Bahraini Companies for 2026, during the official ceremony organized by Al Bilad Media Foundation in July. The event was held in the presence of H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, along with a number of senior officials and business leaders in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Representing the company at the ceremony was Shaikh Duaij bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President for Corporate Support, who commented: "Being recognized among Al Bilad’s Top 50 Bahraini Companies for 2026 is a valuable acknowledgment of ASRY’s sustained efforts to strengthen its position as a steady contributor to Bahrain’s economy. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of institutional performance, driving operational excellence, and fostering innovation, while continuing to play an active role in supporting the growth of the maritime sector locally and regionally."
This recognition forms part of the fifth edition of Al Bilad’s national initiative, launched in 2022 to showcase the achievements of Bahraini companies, recognize their contributions to the economy, and promote a culture of competitiveness, transparency, and institutional excellence across the Kingdom’s business landscape.
