The President of Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport Professor Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, engaged in a formal discussion with His Excellency Professor Abdellatif Miraoui, the Moroccan Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, at the Ministry's premises in Rabat. This meeting, part of an initiative to enhance Arab collaboration in higher education, professional development, and scientific research, was attended by a senior delegation including Professor Alaa Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute, AASTMT and Maritime Research and Consultation Center, Consultant Najat Al-Morabi, and Mr. Ehab Hamdi, Assistant Dean for Financial and Administrative Affairs.
The discussions centered on identifying potential avenues for joint cooperation across higher education, vocational training, and applied research, with a particular focus on empowering young professionals within the maritime and technology sectors.
During the session, Professor Abdel Ghaffar highlighted AASTMT's key achievements across the Arab region and underscored the Academy's academic and training resources, emphasizing their potential contribution to the development and qualification of Moroccan youth in diverse educational, technical, and research domains.
Minister Miraoui welcomed the delegation, acknowledging the significant contributions of AASTMT and its institute in developing Arab talent. He affirmed the Kingdom of Morocco's commitment to fostering enhanced collaboration to advance shared developmental and scientific objectives.
