A Testament to the Relentless Pursuit of Operational Excellence at Khalifa bin Salman Port
APM Terminals Bahrain has been recognized as the “2025 Terminal of the Year”. This recognition is a reflection of the terminal’s outstanding performance across all critical areas: Safety, Port Hours Saved (PHS), customer reliability and cost efficiency. In just one year, APM Terminals Bahrain improved PHS from 18.35% to 28.12%, reduced Man Hours Per Move (MHPM) by 22%, and grew operating profit by 35%, all while maintaining a strong engagement score of 4.52.
For this occasion, APM Terminal Bahrain hosted a dinner celebration at the Gulf Conventional Hall, with the presence of the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Matthew Luckhurst, and a number of senior executives and the company’s workforce.
“Winning this award showcases our operational excellence and the steadfast commitment of every member of APM Terminals Bahrain,” said Matthew. He added, “Our goal is to establish new benchmarks in efficiency, safety, and customer service, and this award motivates us to sustain that level of performance.”
