WinGD has announced that Klaus Heim, ceo of the marine power company, has decided to step down from his role with effect from 31 July 2023.
WinGD has paid tribute to Heim’s leadership and significant contributions during a period of significant growth and innovation for the company. WinGD launched a suite of smart power solutions, strengthening its position as a technology leader in the maritime industry.
The Board of Directors has appointed Dominik Schneiter as the Acting CEO, with effect from 1 July 2023. Schneiter has served as WinGD’s VP of Research and Development for the last 7 years, and has over three decades of industry experience in the role. His deep understanding of the industry, coupled with his strong leadership capabilities, makes him well-suited to lead WinGD through this important phase.
