Port of NEOM has received three new Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes, bringing the total number of cranes to six and further enhancing the terminal’s operational capabilities alongside ten fully electric Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes.
This milestone marks significant progress toward the launch of the T1 Container Terminal, which is scheduled to open in phases beginning in 2026.

The addition of these advanced cranes will boost automation, efficiency, and cargo handling capacity, reinforcing Port of NEOM’s readiness to serve northwest Saudi Arabia and support the growth of regional trade with greater scale, precision, and sustainability.
