Port of Duqm welcomed the arrival of the BYD Changsha vessel in the Sultanate of Oman, marking an important milestone in the development of its Ro-Ro operations and reflecting the growing movement of vehicles through the port.
The vessel’s arrival highlights Port of Duqm’s infrastructure, operational readiness and flexibility in accommodating large-capacity Ro-Ro vessels and handling large-scale vehicle shipments, supporting the evolving requirements of the automotive logistics sector.
The welcoming ceremony brought together representatives from BYD and Saud Bahwan Group, alongside the Port of Duqm team, underscoring the importance of strategic collaboration and partnerships in facilitating the efficient movement of vehicles and strengthening supply chain connectivity between global and regional markets.
