MED MARINE has successfully launched a new RAmparts 2500-W tugboat at EREGLI SHIPYARD in mid-June, marking another milestone in its advanced shipbuilding program. The vessel’s first entry into the waters of Ereğli reflects the company’s engineering capability, precision craftsmanship, and commitment to shaping the future of modern tug operations.
Built to perform where reliability and strength matter most, the RAmparts 2500-W combines robust capability with refined engineering. Measuring 25 metres in length and delivering a minimum bollard pull of 70 tonnes, the tug is designed to meet the challenges of demanding harbour, towing, and escort operations. With a top speed of 12 knots and accommodation for eight crew members, she offers the performance, endurance, and operational flexibility required by today's maritime industry.
