Under the auspices of the Directorate General of Land and Maritime Transport, the official launch ceremony for the Lebanese Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA Lebanon Chapter) will be held tomorrow, Thursday, at 10:00 AM at the Maritime Science and Technology Institute (MARSATI) – Fishermen's Port, Batroun.
The ceremony will include a presentation of the association's mission and objectives, an introduction of the board members and their positions, and a speech on the strategic role of Lebanese women in developing the maritime sector. This initiative comes within the framework of Lebanon's accession to the Arab Women in Maritime Association Network, in line with the International Maritime Organization's vision for empowering women in this vital sector.
