Klaveness Combination Carriers (“KCC”) has, as one of few deep-sea shipping companies, been included in the Financial Times and Statista Europe’s Climate Leaders 2026 ranking. The ranking recognizes European companies that have demonstrated measurable progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and advancing climate-related commitments. Companies are ranked based on several factors, including reductions in absolute emissions and emissions intensity, and Climate Disclosure Project (CDP) score.
The recognition aligns closely with KCC's long-term strategy, where sustainability and supporting the transition to lower-emission shipping are fundamental priorities. Through innovative seaborne logistics solutions with high trading efficiency, continuous improvements in vessel efficiency and investments in new technologies, KCC works to reduce the environmental footprint of seaborne transportation while continuing to deliver value for customers and investors.
The delivery of KCC's latest third-generation CABU combination carrier, MV Baltazar, equipped with wind-assisted propulsion, marks another important step in that journey.
