General cargo ship FALCON LINE is troubled in Gulf of Aden some 45 nm north of Socotra coast. The ship reported water ingress in the evening Jun 7, being en route from Persian Gulf ports to Bosaso Somalia.
The ship turned back and as of 0430 UTC Jun 8, seemed to sail in NE direction at some 2-3 knots speed. Understood US Navy auxiliary ship USNS PATUXENT is on standby or escorting distressed ship.
