Astro Offshore has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Oceaneering International, Inc., marking a further step in the expansion of Astro Offshore’s subsea capabilities.
The collaboration combines Astro Offshore’s modern fleet of high-specification offshore support vessels and marine operations expertise with Oceaneering’s subsea technology and capabilities across ROV services, survey and integrated project delivery. The two companies will bring these complementary capabilities together to support complex offshore and subsea projects.
As part of its continued growth, Astro Offshore has also introduced Astro Aurora, its first DP3 Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV). Designed for complex offshore and subsea operations, the vessel adds further capability to the company’s fleet and will provide a key platform for projects delivered through the collaboration.
The agreement builds on Astro Offshore’s offshore expertise while further strengthening its subsea capabilities and expanding the range of services it can provide to clients.
