Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, received in his office today Mr. Saud bin Tamah Al-Anini, Vice President of Operations for Western Coast Ports, and Mr. Ali bin Salem Al-Mahwari, Executive Director General of Jeddah Islamic Port.
During the meeting, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi was briefed on the operational processes at Jeddah Islamic Port and the port's efforts to activate logistical routes, contributing to the continuity of supply chains and supporting regional trade.
He was also briefed on the readiness of Jeddah Islamic Port and the operational mechanisms in place to maintain the smooth flow of ships and goods, as well as to enhance operational efficiency. This strengthens the port's ability to fulfill its pivotal role in serving the Kingdom and the region as one of the most important hub ports on the Red Sea and a major logistics center supporting the flow of goods.
This comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance Jeddah Islamic Port's position as a strategic logistics hub and a key supporter of maritime trade and supply chains in the region, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals of establishing the Kingdom as a global logistics center.
