During the opening remarks of the conference “Panama: A Strategic Hub to the World of Maritime Services,” Her Excellency Julie Lymberopulos Karnakis, Ambassador of Panama, underscored the long-standing friendship between Panama and Greece, describing it as “a relationship forged over decades of trust, cooperation, and mutual respect.”
The Ambassador noted that Greek shipping has consistently regarded Panama as “a reliable and fully trusted partner,” while Panama highly values the confidence placed in its flag, the Panama Canal, and the quality of its maritime services.
Reaffirming Panama’s vision for the future, she emphasized the country’s commitment to remain “a trusted partner, a hub of connectivity, and a nation dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in maritime services.”
Her remarks highlighted the shared determination of both nations to further strengthen their strategic maritime partnership, as Panama continues to advance the modernization, efficiency, and global competitiveness of its maritime platform.
