Mwani Qatar recorded solid operational growth in February, reflecting continued momentum across its port facilities.
Container throughput reached 118,462 TEUs, marking a 5% increase compared to the same period last year. General cargo volumes totaled 111,967 tons, up 2% year-on-year.
RORO units posted a significant surge of 34%, reaching 11,631 units, highlighting increased activity in vehicle and equipment handling. In addition, ports handled 115,126 tons of bulk cargo and 39,613 head of livestock during the month.
Vessel traffic also recorded growth, with 237 vessels calling at Mwani Qatar’s ports, representing a 4% increase compared to February of the previous year.
The performance underscores Mwani Qatar’s operational efficiency and its growing role in supporting regional trade and supply chain connectivity.
