Milahi has launched a new maritime centre that brings together real-time vessel monitoring, operational data and AI-driven insights to support smarter decision-making across its global fleet of 325 vessels and 60,000 containers.
Designed in-house in Abu Dhabi, the NOA TUM Maritime platform is expected to deliver cost savings of up to AED 100 million annually, while supporting safer, more efficient and sustainable operations.
Speaking about the centre’s capabilities, Sasi Brabhakaran, Director, Maritime Assets, said Milahi provides a 360-degree view of the entire fleet, enabling the company to track every vessel in real time, monitor performance, optimise routes and use data analytics to reduce fuel consumption. He added that the centre integrates information from all verticals to enable safer, smarter and more efficient operations.
Building on this data-driven approach, Captain Porus Pervez, Advisor, said Milahi supports operational efficiency by transforming real-time operational data into AI-driven predictive insights.
Beyond operational efficiency, the centre also supports safety and risk management. Captain Salem Al Minhali, General Manager, Maritime Services, said it provides safety and risk advisory, global situational awareness and market intelligence, helping teams make faster and more informed decisions.
From a technology perspective, Yousef Al Riyami, Chief Technology Officer, said Milahi serves as a maritime knowledge hub, centralising all assets-related information and strengthening the company’s position in maritime operations. He added that the centre reflects Milahi’s commitment to innovation, safety and operational excellence.
