MacGregor has secured a substantial volume of Offshore Load Handling service contracts during the first half of 2026, strengthening its position in the offshore sector through a series of modernization and upgrade projects. The new contracts, which reinforce the company's integrated service offering, have been booked into MacGregor’s order intake for the first and second quarters of 2026.

Recently won offshore load handling related modernisation orders highlight MacGregor’s capability to provide value throughout the entire lifecycle of a vessel. A key highlight of these recent modernisation and upgrade contracts includes the total rebuild of customer’s crane control systems. This project replaces obsolete components with the newest technological advancements currently featured on MacGregor’s latest newbuild cranes.
Additionally, the asset will be equipped with a brand-new, highly functional operator cabin boasting an advanced Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and enhanced operational features. MacGregor’s meticulously planned execution of similar projects in the past was a decisive factor in the owner placing their trust in the company once again.
