Dr. Noura Mohammed Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works of the State of Kuwait, visited both Hamad Port and the cruise terminal at Old Doha Port as part of her official visit to the State of Qatar. The minister and her accompanying delegation were received by officials from Mwani Qatar, where they were briefed on the vital facilities and advanced services offered by Qatar’s ports, in addition to infrastructure, current development phases, and future plans aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the maritime transport sector.

Bilateral Cooperation
During the visit, discussions were held on ways to strengthen joint cooperation between Qatar and Kuwait in the maritime and port sectors, in support of mutual interests and in pursuit of expanding the strategic partnership between the two brotherly nations.
It is worth noting that the Minister had earlier held a meeting with H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, during which opportunities for bilateral cooperation and avenues for development across various fields were reviewed
