Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy (ADMA) proudly took center stage at the prestigious Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) Middle East Awards Ceremony, held on 22nd April 2025 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai.
With over 500 distinguished attendees from across the UAE’s maritime sector, the event celebrated excellence in shipping education and professional development.
Outstanding Success
ADMA's achievements stood out among the region’s top maritime institutions. The Academy received widespread recognition for securing the best ICS Foundation Diploma results globally for an unprecedented third consecutive year. This consistent performance further solidifies ADMA's position as a regional leader in maritime education.
A highlight of the evening was the remarkable success of ADMA students, as three of them received subject topper awards, reflecting the Academy’s strong academic foundation. Among them was Mai Aljnebi, who not only received awards but also made history as the first UAE National to pass all seven modules of the ICS Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE), obtaining full Membership in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS).
Academic Achievement
In addition to student achievements, ADMA was also honored with the ICS Middle East Lecturers Award, presented to Capt. Mohammed Khalid Khurshid for his outstanding services in this field. These achievements reflect ADMA’s commitment to academic excellence, national talent development, and the professional growth of the region’s maritime sector.
